Friend First, REALTOR® Second (1)

Due to current events with the COVID-19 restrictions and precautions, I have modified how I will be conducting business for the time being.    The great news is that the real estate market is still moving.   Working together, we can do our part to keep everyone safe and healthy.  Some sellers may restrict showings.  Now more than ever, it is important that we are only showing homes to buyers that are ready, willing, and able to purchase at this time.  Most paperwork is completed electronically.   I am available for virtual meetings and by telephone at any time.  Buyers and sellers will also sign release forms.  A copy of the forms are below.

Working with Buyers

I am still conducting business! I am committed to the health and safety of my clients, partners and communities and I am taking the COVID-19 virus seriously. I am closely following the recommendations by our city, state, and federal public health authorities and the Center for Disease Control. I am well equipped with processes to work you while maintaining safety and sanitation guidelines. Additionally, I am equipped with technology and tools to conduct business virtually and online allowing for your health and safety to be the highest priority.

I am a neighbor first; REALTOR® second. I look forward to continuing to meet you where you are and serve you in our community. Before we meet in person please read these questions:

  • Is anyone in your home currently sick or quarantined?
  • Has anyone in your home been in direct contact with anyone with the COVID-19 virus?
  • Have you had any of these symptoms in the last 14 days?
    • Fever over 100°
    • Cough
    • Difficulty breathing
  • Are there any other risks for COVID-19 at your home (such as recent travel)?

If you answer yes to any of these call me at 317-750-9173 to reschedule our visit for a virtual option.

If you answer no to all of the above, let's chat about how we can meet up.

I will not be shaking hands at this time as we manage our way through the COVID-19 outbreak.

Working with Sellers

Our Company has established a protocol to help minimize the risk of exposure to the virus and the risk of spreading the virus.  I’d like to do my small part by being sure I follow the protocol because it’s so important right now.”

  • At this time that we are refraining from doing Open Houses.
  • Keep me advised during the listing of any change in your circumstances that may lead you to believe that a household member has been exposed to, or may have contracted COVID-19.
  • If someone has been exposed to someone with COVID-19 we recommend virtual showings only.
  • In the Remarks section of the listing, we will request that Buyer Agent and his/her clients follow the protocol they’ll see upon entering the home. Also, request that the Agent refrains from showing the home if the Agent/Clients are sick with a cough or sneezing.

A Protocol Station (detailed below) will be a permanent fixture at the entrance to the home during the listing.

Set up the "Protocol Station" at the entrance to the home with:

  • Hand sanitizer - Alternative: hand soap, paper towels and a wastebasket readily available at the kitchen sink.
  • Gloves
  • Tissues
  • Shoe covers
  • Instruction for Agent/Guests to, upon entering the home, make use of the items set out at the Protocol Station.
